For the past few weeks, there has been no recorded viewership on my blog. Zero views. No genuine comments. Absolutely no notable interaction at all.
I’m not sure how, or why. For some reason, my viewership just plummeted to zero.
What’s worse is that I’ve started getting “spam” comments on some of my posts. But the views don’t match up. I’ll have 1 view on a blog post, with 4 comments. And yes, comments are moderated, so I can tell which ones are automated and which are from actual readers.
It is extremely discouraging. So I’m running an experiment.
