In 50/63: A Decade of Inspiration & Aspirations I put my goals out into the universe in hopes of manifesting more opportunities. While I’m sure that pooling resources with potential travel companions is a viable option for shorter trips, longer vacations are more costly and keep us away from jobs that pay our bills.
But there are ways for you, dear readers, to help.
Smash the Follow Button
The easiest and most cost-effective option is to simply follow my Twitch channel. Following costs you nothing. Zero dollars. All you need is an active account, and you’ll be able to hang out with me online a few times each week.

Lurkers are Welcome
Engagement is essential to having a successful streaming channel. It starts with a follow, but there’s more that you can do to boost the algorithm. Of course, actively watching the streams is helpful, but what if you’re busy with something else? Fortunately, it’s super-easy to have a tab open on your computer with the live event muted in the background. Lurkers are always welcome, and are a huge boost to viewership.
Chit-Chat
Do you have questions about the game I’m playing? Is there something you want to ask me on another topic? Or do you just need a safe place to vent your frustrations? Join the chat during my live streams for a step-up in engagement and hang out with me and whomever else shows up. Just be mindful of the chat rules! Trolls, solicitors, and spammers will get booted.
Subs
The next steps beyond that are the monetization options that Twitch recently rolled out for nearly all users. You can subscribe to anyone -yes, really!- based in the United States. And if you have Amazon Prime, you can link your accounts and follow one channel at no extra cost. That’s right! You get one free Prime Sub to use every month for the creator of your choice. (hint, hint!)
The ability to monetize on my Twitch channel is the ultimate goal for me as a gamer. Not only will I get paid for doing something I love, but it can help finance my travel goals. It’s even something I can do on the road. How fun would it be to have a livestream from an eclectic hotel a long Route 66? If you want to help make this happen, go to http://www.twitch.tv/krisodell and hit the follow button.
That’s all there is to it. Easy-peasy and a fun way to engage with me every week. I hope to see you there soon!
